The unfiltered nature of the apple wine leaves a rich apple sediment in the bottom of every bottle, a true treat in a hurried world, every bottle should have a "Bottoms-Up!" tilt and swirl before opening to ensure even dispersion of the sediment and a fair sharing of the complex flavors. Minhas is located in the quaint Swiss town of Monroe in the southern tip of Wisconsin, a town famous for having the most specialty cheesemakers in America, the very famous 'Cheesedays' and of course, world class beers. The brewery has been located downtown since 1845 and now consists of 300,000 sqaure feet of heritage and brand new buildings spread over 7 acres of land. In 2007, a separate company was formed called Mount Pleasant Brewing Company. This new brewery operation is strictly manufacturing and packaging using the same recipes that have been successfully developed for years at the brewpub. In 2008, shipments of beers such as the Gamblers Golden Ale, Railyard Raspberry Wheat and Cow Catcher Red Ale were flying out of the brewery and into restaurants and bars across Michigan.
